It can feel quite scary to contemplate going on holiday on your own - but once you do it, it is so liberating. There are some great travel companies that cater for singles now so you have the freedom to go anywhere even though you are not 'coupled up' and you get the chance to meet people with similar interests. Nelson's skimboarding looks fun to and a great choice of music. Although I am no longer single, when I was, I went on holiday on my own and had a great time relaxing and contemplating things I wanted to do. I found that although it felt a bit scary the first time it was one of the best things I ever did. In fact I found it very liberating and a big achievement, especially as all my holidays before were as a family. It was quite strange as lots of friends were saying that it was really brave and they wouldn't want to do it, but I found it to be a great way to recharge my batteries and really spend some me time doing what I wanted. The single suppliment can be inhibiting and I'm pleased to see that the travel mindustry is finally recognising this and doing something about it. Susan : ) Hi Susanne,
